Ahoy there, me hearties!

We have had a fantastic Pirate Day here at Summer Camp. We started the day on the field together to show off our jolly team pirate chants. The Sandcastle group were victorious with an epic performance inspired by Spongebob Squarepants. Across the day, we have used our creative skills to help us to become pirates by making pirate hats, eye patches and mini ships. Outside, we have built giant pirate ships that we have loved playing inside. On the field, we have enjoyed taking part in some of our favourite sports and games including rounders and dodgeball.

During the afternoon, we all went on exciting adventures to hunt for treasure using maps to guide us through the tricky routes. Some of us had missions to complete along the way. At the end of the day, all of the Summer Camp pirates congregated on the field for a group game of ‘Captain’s Coming’.

We have loved being pirates for the day and cannot wait to come back tomorrow for our Emergency Services day.
