Animal Planet day

It has been a wild day at Summer Camp today as we have been discovering all sorts of strange, interesting and wonderful animals as part of our Animal Planet Day. During our Arts & Crafts sessions children have been busy making giraffe headbands, jellyfish from paper plates and even creating some interesting animals with polystyrene balls.

We had so much fun in our sports specialist session today, playing a game of badminton crossed with tennis, it was definitely wild! We also spent some time in our second sports session playing variations of tag with an animal theme. We also loved being back in the pool for a full session today, making the most of this opportunity to cool down in the hot heat of today.

Some of our older children put their animal knowledge to the test by playing an animal version of Guess Who and 20 Questions - which animal would you choose? Everyone also took part in a Scavenger Hunt, searching for some of the strangest animals on the planet, has anyone seen a pink dolphin? What about a Mata Mata turtle or a Venezuelan Poodle Moth?

Unfortunately, we are unable to share any photos from today due to technical issues and we do sincerely apologise. Tomorrow, we are hopeful to share a lot of photos from our Talent Show as our last day at camp this year is Lumen Summer Camp's Got Talent!
