There are a number of ways to travel to our Saxon Primary School site -
There is one bus route that services the immediate area as follows:
|Number||Route||Bus stop location|
|458||Kingston to Staines||Laleham Road at junction with Rosewood Drive|
The nearest train station is the Shepperton BR situated Close to the High Street. Oyster cards cannot be used at this station and it is outside of the London Zones. The station is 1.1 miles from Saxon, with Shepperton being the end of the line with only one platform. Trains arrive and depart every 30 minutes. It is serviced by the London Waterloo BR line via Kingston and Wimbledon.
We are 5 minutes away in a taxi with station cars taxi office in view as you leave the platform and head on to Station Approach.
The walk from the station to the school will take approximately 20 minutes. Exit the station and walk straight to the top of Station Approach. Turn right on to Green Lane, and cross the traffic lights (passing Old Charlton Road on your Right) heading on to Laleham Road (B378). Continue for 0.7 miles over the bridge and continue past the traffic lights. Turn left on to Rosewood Drive and take the first left on to Briar Road. Continue until you reach the school site.
We are 12 minutes from Junction 1 (Sunbury) of the M3 and 16 minutes from Junction 11 (Chertsey) of the M25. Our school car park is open between 9am & 3pm with limited available spaces. There is space in the adjacent residential roads. Please note that between the hours of 8.20-8.50am and 2.45-3.30pm there is a high volume of traffic so please allow extra time to arrive and park if visiting us during these times.
