A part of the Lumen Learning Trust there are a number of staff benefits you can take advantage of.

Eye care Voucher

E-voucher eye care scheme for all Lumen Learning Trust staff who use display screen equipment (DSE) such as a computer or laptop for work purposes. Staff are entitled to a free eye test every 2 years, unless specified by their optician, provided by the school. If glasses are required, the voucher will also entitle staff to a free pair of VDU glasses from the opticians' £50 range or £20 towards a pair of glasses of your choice.

If you are experiencing issues either at home or at work, Help Employee Assistance Service is on hand to provide you with expert guidance.

For an employee (including family members permanently living with them) needing confidential help and advice, qualified counsellors are available to provide telephone support on any matter that is causing you upset or anxiety from personal problems to bereavement. For more information see the flyer at the bottom of this page.

Flu Jabs

We are pleased to offer all of our staff the opportunity of having a flu vaccination at Boots the Chemist free of charge. If you wish to have the vaccination please email your allocated HR assistant who will forward an e-voucher to you. You may then book an appointment at your local Boots store and present the voucher.

There is a charge to the Trust for each flu jab given therefore if you are entitled to a free NHS vaccination I would ask that you arrange this with your GP.

The flu jab is free if you are aged 65 and over or aged 18+ and have a long-term condition such as diabetes, heart and circulatory disease, some cancers or a weakened immune system. If you have cancer, or have had cancer in the past, check with your GP or specialist to find out if and when you should have a flu jab.
