The Business and Management Committee is a Committee of the Trust Board. Its purpose is to provide guidance and assistance to the Trust Board on all matters related to finance, resources, premises, risk management and Health & Safety of the Trust.
This includes preparing and approving annual budgets, monitoring financial performance against that budget, reviewing delegated authorities, ensuring all transactions are conducted in accordance with good practice as directed by the ESFA, to ensure best value is achieved in all financial transactions and to receive and (where relevant) respond to period audit reports on the Trust and of public funds. This committee also acts as the Trust's Audit Committee.
